Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups green peas, shelled
  • 2 eggs, beaten stiffly
  • 2 tbsp - grated Onion
  • 2 tbsp - melted Butter
  • 1 tbsp - chopped Parsley
  • 2 tbsp - finely chopped Mint leaves
  • A few drops of red pepper sauce
  • Salt, pepper and mustard to taste

How to Make Baked peas

  • Boil the green peas till tender, drain and liquidize.
  • Add the beaten egg yolks, grated onion, melted butter, chopped parsley, finely chopped mint leaves, drops of red pepper sauce, salt, pepper and mustard to taste.
  • Fold in the egg whites, stiffly beaten.
  • Pour into a greased ring mould
  • Bake at 180 deg C for about 25 mins. Till firm. Turn out after 5 mins.
  • Serve with creamed mushrooms.
