Ingredients

  • 1 pack - phyllo sheet
  • 2 cups - pistachio, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup - granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup - Butter
  • For syrup:
  • 1 cup - Honey
  • 2 cups - granulated Sugar
  • 2 cups - water
  • 1 - Cinnamon stick
  • 2 slices - Lemon
  • How to Make Baklava with Pistachio:

    1. Boil the water and add honey, sugar and cinnamon stick.
    2. Stir until it thickens.
    3. In a bowl mix pistachio nuts, cinnamon and sugar.
    4. Grease a baking pan and line the base with phyllo.
    5. Brush butter on the layers.
    6. Cover with thin layer of nut mixture, then top with another layer of phyllo. Repeat till nut mixture is done.
    7. Pour melted butter.
    8. Bake for 30 to 45 mins at 400 Fahrenheit until brown.
