Ingredients

  • Button mushrooms - 1 lb
  • Red pepper - 1 medium
  • Onion - 1 medium, chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • 1 tsp - red chilli powder
  • Curry powder - 1 tsp
  • Fresh mint - 1 tbsp chopped
  • Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp chopped
  • Natural yoghurt - 1 small carton
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Ground almond - 1 tbsp
  • Salt -1 tsp

How to Make Balti Mushrooms And Red Peppers

  • Cut the mushroom in half and red pepper in to small pieces. Keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add the chopped onion and garlic.
  • Fry till brown, add 1 tsp chilli powder and curry powder.
  • Fry for a while and add the chopped mushrooms and red pepper. Cook till they are done.
  • Now add almond powder, chopped mint, chopped coriander, yoghurt or cream and salt.
  • Simmer for 2 mins, garnish with fresh coriander and mint. Serve.
