Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Maida
  • 1/2 cup - Ghee
  • 1/2 cup - yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp - soda
  • 2 tsp - Sugar
  • Oil
  • For syrup:
  • 4 cups - Sugar
  • Enough water to cover it
  • How to Make Balu Shahi:

    1. Add maida, ghee, yogurt, soda and sugar. Make it into a dough.
    2. Make small balls, press them in the middle with your thumb.
    3. Deep fry on a low flame until they are golden brown.
    4. Make sugar syrup.
    5. Dip the fried balls. And take out after 3 to 4 mins.
