Ingredients

  • Finely shredded fresh or canned Bamboo shoots - 2 cups
  • Grated Coconut - 1 cup
  • Green chillies - 2 tsp, minced
  • Oil - 3 tbsp
  • Onion - 1 cup, minced
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Bamboo Shoot Kosumbari:

    1. Mix together, the bamboo shoots, green chillies and grated coconut.
    2. Heat oil in a kadai. Add onion and fry till golden brown.
    3. Add chilli and turmeric powders.
    4. Add the bamboo-shoot mixture and cook stirring till the bamboo shoots are brown.
    5. Serve.
