  • 1 - Raw banana
  • 2 - 3 tsp - Salt
  • 1/4 cup - Water
  • Coconut Oil - 5 tbsp
  • How to Make Banana Chips with Curry Leaves:

    1. Wash and peel the raw banana.
    2. Slice the banana into very thin circular discs.
    3. Separately, dissolve salt in some water and keep it aside.
    4. Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan.
    5. Drop a handful of banana slices into the hot oil carefully.
    6. Pour a tsp or two of salt water into the oil.
    7. The oil will sizzle a little, so make sure to maintain a distance.
    8. Saute regularly so that the slices do not stick to each other and they are cooked all over.
    9. The chips are done when they turn golden yellow in colour.
    10. Remove them from oil and drain them on paper towels.
    11. Let it cool completely and store in airtight containers.
    12. Repeat the whole process for the remaining banana slices.
