Ingredients

  • 1 cup - plain flour/maida
  • 1/2 cup - Rice flour
  • 1/2 cup - Sugar
  • 3 ripe Bananas
  • 1 cup - Milk
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup - water
  • 1/2 tsp - vanilla essence
  • 1/2 kg - oil for frying
  • How to Make Banana Fritters:

    1. Mix all the ingredients, except the bananas, together to get a smooth thick batter without lumps.
    2. Slit the bananas into half lengthwise and then cut into halves again.
    3. Heat oil in deep pan till smoky.
    4. Dip the banana pieces into the batter one at a time and drop them into the hot oil.
    5. Fry till golden brown.
