  • 1 cup - plain flour/maida
  • 1/2 cup - Rice flour
  • 1/2 cup - Sugar
  • 3 ripe Bananas
  • 1 cup - Milk
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup - water
  • 1/2 tsp - vanilla essence
  • 1/2 kg - oil for frying

How to Make Banana Fritters

  • Mix all the ingredients, except the bananas, together to get a smooth thick batter without lumps.
  • Slit the bananas into half lengthwise and then cut into halves again.
  • Heat oil in deep pan till smoky.
  • Dip the banana pieces into the batter one at a time and drop them into the hot oil.
  • Fry till golden brown.
