Ingredients

  • 110g - Rice flour
  • 225g - tempura flour
  • 110 m - grated coconut, fresh or dried
  • 225 ml - Coconut Milk
  • 125 ml - Sugar
  • 25 ml - sesame seeds
  • 1 - ice Cream
  • 4 - bananas, cut in half
  • oil for deep frying
  • 5 ml - salt

How to Make Banana Fritters with Ice Cream

  • Mix all ingredients (except ice-cream and banana) together to form a batter.
  • Heat the oil in a large, heavy based saucepan. Dip the banana in flour and then the batter.
  • Deep fry until golden brown.
  • Remove from oil and drain on absorbent kitchen paper.
  • Serve with ice cream.
