Ingredients

  • 200 g - Flour
  • 150 g - Sugar, powdered
  • 50 g - Chopped Walnuts
  • 3 - Eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp - Salt
  • 3 tsp - Milk
  • 150 g -Butter
  • 3 - Large, ripe Bananas (green skin variety) ,mashed well
  • 2 tsp - Baking powder.

How to Make Banana Nut loaf

  • Sift the flour, baking powder and salt together.
  • Cream the butter and sugar well.
  • Mix in the mashed banana, milk and walnuts.
  • Fold in the flour.
  • If the mixture is too thick add a little more milk.
  • Pour the batter in a greased baking dish.
  • Bake for about 30 mins until the cake browns on the top.
  • Remove from the oven and cool.
