Ingredients

  • 200 g - Flour
  • 150 g - Sugar, powdered
  • 50 g - Chopped Walnuts
  • 3 - Eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp - Salt
  • 3 tsp - Milk
  • 150 g -Butter
  • 3 - Large, ripe Bananas (green skin variety) ,mashed well
  • 2 tsp - Baking powder.
  • How to Make Banana Nut loaf:

    1. Sift the flour, baking powder and salt together.
    2. Cream the butter and sugar well.
    3. Mix in the mashed banana, milk and walnuts.
    4. Fold in the flour.
    5. If the mixture is too thick add a little more milk.
    6. Pour the batter in a greased baking dish.
    7. Bake for about 30 mins until the cake browns on the top.
    8. Remove from the oven and cool.
