Ingredients

  • 2 cups - all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup - sugar
  • 1 tbsp - baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 1 cup - milk
  • 1 - egg (beaten)
  • 1/3 cup - vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup - mashed banana
  • 1/2 cup - walnut (chopped)

How to Make Banana Nut Muffins

  • Preheat an oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  • Grease a 12-cup muffin pan.
  • Sift the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a medium-sized bowl and make a well in the centre.
  • Mix the milk, egg, oil, banana and walnuts in a small bowl.
  • Pour this mixture into the well created in the other bowl.
  • Mix the batter just until it turns moist.
  • Spoon the batter into the muffin cups.
  • Bake for about 15 minutes until the muffins turn golden brown or a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
