Ingredients

  • 600g - mutton, cleaned and cut
  • 150g - oil
  • 200g - onions
  • 50g - whole garam masala
  • 80g - ginger-garlic paste
  • 25g - red chilli powder
  • 15g - turmeric powder
  • 20g - coriander powder
  • 15g - coriander seeds
  • 150g - yoghurt
  • 6 - whole red chillies
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Banjari Gosht

  • Heat oil, add the sliced onions and saute till they turn brown.
  • Add the ginger-garlic paste, whole garam masala, red chilli powder, salt, turmeric, coriander powder.
  • Add the yoghurt and then mutton.
  • Add roasted, crushed coriander seeds and allow them to cook.
  • Garnish with pounded coriander seeds and whole red chillies.
