  • 3 cups -Plain flour
  • 200g -Butter
  • 1/4 cup -Powdered Sugar
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 tsp -Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp - Baking powder
  • 1 tsp -White Vinegar
  • To sprinkle - 1 tbsp- Sesame seeds and shelled pistachios.
  • How to Make Barazik al sham:

    1. Cream the butter and sugar, then add the eggs, vanilla extract and mix well.
    2. Sift the flour, sugar and baking powder, the vinegar and knead it into a dough.
    3. Now wrap the dough in a cling film and chill for 1 hour.
    4. Preheat the oven to 180 degree Celsius.
    5. Now take the dough and divide into small balls.
    6. Now flatten the balls sprinkle the sesame seeds on the top.
    7. Turn it around and sprinkle the bottom with pistachios.
    8. Place them in a baking tray.
    9. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 mins or until slightly brown.
