Ingredients

  • 10 - bread slices
  • 3/4 cup - Sugar (powdered in grinder)
  • 2 cups - Milk
  • 1 - Egg
  • 1/3 cup - broken Walnuts or tutti frutti
  • 1 tsp - vanilla essence
  • Butter - 1tsp.

How to Make Basic Bread Pudding

  • Soak the bread slices in milk and mash into a pulp.
  • Add in the sugar, egg and essence and mix well.
  • Finally add in the walnuts or tutti frutti and mix lightly.
  • Put into a covered greased dish and steam in pressure cooker for 20 mins.
  • When cool, invert the dish on to a plate.
