  • 1 liter - Milk
  • 1.5 tbsp - Corn flour
  • 1.5 tbsp - g.m.s powder (softener)
  • 8 tbsp - Sugar (or as per taste)
  • 1/8th tsp - cmc (stabilizer)

How to Make Basic Ice Cream

  • Keep aside one cup milk.
  • Boil the rest of the milk.
  • Reduce the milk to half its quantity.
  • In the kept aside cold milk add all the remaining ingredients. Mix well.
  • Gradually add this mixture to the boiling milk.
  • Mix and give it 2 to 3 boils.
  • Remove from gas and keep stirring for 2 to 3 minutes. Cool.
  • Pour in a plastic/ tin container.
  • Cover with a cling film/ aluminium foil.
  • Close the lid and put it into the freezer to set.
