Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Besan
  • 1 cup - Rice flour
  • 2 tbsp - red chilli powder
  • A pinch - baking powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 cups - water
  • Oil to deep fry
  • 5 cups - cauliflower florets

How to Make Batter Fried Cauliflower

  • Mix the flours, salt, chilli powder, and baking soda with sufficient water to make a thick batter.
  • Add the washed florets to the batter and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a saucepan and deep fry the florets till golden brown.
  • Remove from oil, drain and serve hot with green chutney or tomato sauce.
