Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups - Red kidney beans
  • 1/2 cup - minced Meat
  • 1 cup - chopped Onions
  • 1 cup - finely chopped Mushroom
  • 1/2 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp - Ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp - black pepper powder
  • 1/4 cup - chopped Coriander leaves
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp - bread crumbs
  • 3 tsp - oil
  • 1/4 cup - grated cheese
  • Powders to be mixed: 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • How to Make Bean Burger:

    1. Soak the beans for 7-8 hours and boil till soft.
    2. Smash the beans and mix with meat.
    3. Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan.
    4. Simmer onion, ginger and garlic till the onions are transparent.
    5. Add mixed powders and simmer for 2 minutes.
    6. Add mushrooms and simmer till softened.
    7. Remove and let it cool.
    8. Mix it with bean and meat mixture.
    9. Add requires salt, corriander leaves and breadcrumbs.
    10. Make 6 flat patties of the mixture.
    11. Put it on the griller.
    12. Brush the patties with remaining 1 tsp of oil.
    13. Sprinkle pepper powder.
    14. Grill the patties on one side 7-8 mins till golden brown.
    15. Turn it and again brush with oil and sprinkle grated cheese.
    16. Grill it for another 7-8 mins till golden brown.
    17. Serve with raw vegetables.
