Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Finely chopped beans
  • 1 cup - Finely chopped Carrot
  • 1 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tsp - Split Urad Dal
  • 4 - Dry chillies
  • A pinch of Asafoetida
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to fry
  • How to Make Beans Carrot Curry:

    1. Pressure cook the beans and carrots.
    2. In a Kadai, pour 2 tsps of oil and mustard seeds and allow it to splutter.
    3. Add the urad dal, asafoetida and dry chillies.
    4. Add the vegetables and saute for 2 minutes.
    5. Now add salt to taste.
    6. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves and grated coconut for added taste.
