  • 1 cup - Beaten Rice (poha)
  • 1 1/2 cup - skimmed Milk Curd
  • 1 mango, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 1/4 tsp Saffron
  • Sugar to taste
  • Almond flakes for garnishing
  • How to Make Beaten rice pudding:

    1. Wash beaten rice well, mix it with curd and allow to rest for two hours.
    2. If the rice has absorbed most of the curd, you could add a little more to make the dish wet again.
    3. Mix sugar, cardamom powder and saffron.
    4. Garnish with chopped mangoes or any seasonal fruit and almond flakes. Serve cold.
