Ingredients

  • 1 kg - Beef, cut 2-inch slices
  • 1 tbsp - Ghee
  • 250 gms - Green peas
  • 200 gms - Carrots
  • 200 gms - Potatoes
  • 1/2 Pods (whole) - Garlic mince
  • 6 - Medium Green chillies mince
  • 2-inch piece- Ginger mince
  • 200 gms - Onions mince
  • 3 tbsp - Ghee for frying
  • 2 tsp - Garam Masala powder masala
  • 2 tsp - Pepper powder
  • 3 tbsp - Vinegar mix
  • 1 tsp - Sugar mix
  • 2 tsp - Salt mix
  • How to Make Beef Alimore:

    1. Cut the meat into 2-inch pieces or slices.
    2. Pare the skins of the potatoes and carrots and cut them into pieces.
    3. Wash the peas and keep aside.
    4. Prepare the minced masala and keep aside.
    5. In a shallow pan, cook the meat in a little water with salt, till the water is dry.
    6. Add a spoonful of ghee or a little more, if the meat does not have its own fat.
    7. Fry till the meat is brown.
    8. Add some more ghee and put in the minced masala and fry.
    9. When well fried, add the powder masala, vinegar, sugar and salt.
    10. Add a cup of hot water into the pan and cook.
    11. Now remove and put the stuff in a pressure cooker and cook for 45 minutes.
    12. In the meantime, boil potatoes and other vegetables.
    13. Add pressure cooked meat and cook till everything is mixed well.
