Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - Beef (sirloin)
  • 5 gms - Salt
  • 250 gms - Potatoes
  • 200 gms - Tomatoes
  • To grind:
  • 1 - Fresh coconut, scraped
  • 5 gms - Coriander leaves (kothmeer)
  • 1 tsp - Jeera/ Cumin seeds
  • 8 - Pepper Corns
  • 6 Cloves - Garlic
  • 1/2 inch - Ginger
  • 2 - Medium Onions
  • 6 - Medium Green chillies
  • 3 tbsp - Ghee
  • 1/2 - Medium onion, sliced for seasoning
  • 1 tbsp - Vinegar
  • How to Make Beef Curry with Green Masala:

    1. Cook meat in 3 cups of water and salt.
    2. Add the potatoes and tomatoes to the meat.
    3. While the meat boils, grind the masala.
    4. Brown half a sliced onion in hot ghee.
    5. Pour the cooked meat, masala, vinegar, salt in the seasoning and simmer for half an hour.
