Ingredients

  • 1 kg - Beef cut into medium pieces
  • 2 large potatoes, peeled and cut into quarters
  • 2 Green chillies
  • 1 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder
  • 2 tbsp - Vinegar
  • 1 tsp - mustard powder
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp - chopped Garlic
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tsp - chopped Mint
  • How to Make Beef Hash:

    1. Boil the beef in sufficient water and a little salt till tender.
    2. Drain and keep the soup aside.
    3. Boil the potatoes and keep aside.
    4. Shred the meat into bits.
    5. Mix all the above ingredients together with the shredded meat, boiled potatoes and 1/2 a cup of the leftover soup.
    6. Simmer on a low heat till the water dries up and the mixture is semi solid.
    7. Serve with bread or chapattis.
