  • 1/2 kg - Beef rump
  • 3 tbsp - Vinegar
  • 3 tbsp - Garam Masala
  • 1 tbsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 3 sticks - Cinnamon
  • 6 - Cloves
  • 6 - medium chillies
  • A few Coriander leaves
  • A few Mint leaves
  • 200 gms - Potatoes
  • 200 gms - Onions
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Beef Roast Fried:

    1. Wash and cut 'gola' meat - previously bought from the butcher.
    2. Marinate it with a little vinegar, garam masala, ginger-garlic paste, and turmeric powder. Keep in the fridge overnight.
    3. Next day, heat about 1 tbsp of oil in the pressure cooker.
    4. Add a few cinnamons and cloves and 4 whole red chillies and finally the meat.
    5. Add quarter to 1/2 cup water and pressure cook for 20 minutes.
    6. When the meat is cooked and the pressure released, continue cooking, till the meat absorbs the liquid.
    7. When the meat has cooled, you can keep it in the fridge, and take it out and make slices whenever you want.
    8. In a saucepan, heat some cooking oil and fry the meat slices, and keep aside.
    9. In the same pan, fry the potatoes, peeled and cut in to round flat slices. Remove and keep aside.
    10. In the same pan, fry round onion rings.
    11. Then put all in the saucepan and fry once more.
    12. Sprinkle some vinegar and salt on top, if you need a sour taste.
    13. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves, and mint leaves.
