Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - beef
  • 1 inch piece - ginger
  • 4 pods - garlic
  • 1 - medium onion
  • mustard seed
  • curry leaves
  • For Masala:
  • 3 tsp - chilli powder
  • 2 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - garam masala

How to Make Beef Roast

  • Marinate beef (cut into small cubes) along with ginger, garlic, curry leaves and half of masala powders for 1 hour. Boil beef cubes till tender in a pressure cooker. Allow the cooker to cool gradually.
  • Heat oil in a kadai, put mustard seed, add onion and curry leaves after the seeds start spluttering. Add the remaining masalas and fry.
  • Then add boiled beef and roast till dry.
  • Tastes good with rice.
