Ingredients

  • 1 tsp - Ginger paste
  • 1 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala
  • Salt - to taste
  • 1 - Lime
  • 2 tbsp - Meat curry powder
  • 2 - medium Beef steak (sirloin preferred as they are less fat and lean cut)
  • For Salad:
  • 1 - Onion
  • 3 - Tomatoes
  • Coriander leaves - A few
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup - plain yogurt
  • 4 - Potatoes
  • 1 tsp - pepper powder
  • 2 tsp - bristo stock powder
  • 1 tsp - olive/veg oil

How to Make Beef Steak with Mlore Stew Powder

  • Marinate the steaks with meat curry powder, ginger-garlic paste, lime juice, salt and garam masala for at least an hour (preferably keep in fridge for softness to retain).
  • For salad: Chop the onion and tomatoes, marinate in curd, add salt and a pinch of pepper.
  • For potatoes: Boil potatoes, peel after boiling and mash them either in mixer or hand.
  • For gravy: Mix 'bristo' stock powder in boiling water. (You can use Oxo/Maggi cubes as well as per your liking for the gravy concentration).
  • To grill steak:| Pre-heat oven to 190 degrees C for 10 minutes.
  • Spread olive oil/veg oil in the kitchen foil, place the marinated steaks in foil and grill for 20 minutes.
  • Change sides and grill for another 10 minutes.
  • Serve steak with salad, mashed potato and hot gravy.
