  • 1 cup - Beetroot chopped
  • 1 cup - paneer, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup - Sugar
  • 5 ml - whole Milk
  • 1 tsp - rose water
  • 2 tbsp - Ghee
  • 2/3 cups +1 tbsp - flour
  • How to Make Beetroot paneer Burfi:

    1. Grind beetroot to a smooth paste with 45 ml milk
    2. Add crumbled paneer and grind smoothly
    3. Heat a non-stick pan with ghee and pour this ground mix and cook on medium heat for 5 to 7 mins
    4. Add the sugar and flour, mix well to remove lumps and continue to cook for 12 to 15 mins
    5. Grease a tray and set aside
    6. Cool the mixture, then grease palm and knead it for 2 mins and place it on the greased tray, pat it down and cut to desired shapes.
    7. Set for few hours and place in an airtight jar.
