How to Make Beets, Apple and Oats Halwa

  • Peel the apples and beetroot. Grate them finely.
  • Take the sugar, milk powder, grated apples and beets in a microwave safe bowl.
  • Cook in microwave oven, for 20 minutes in high power (stir twice in between).
  • Take the oats, in another microwave safe bowl, cook in high power for 2 minutes, until they turn a bit crispy.
  • Now add the rolled oats, cardamom powder and ghee to the almost cooked halwa.
  • Cook again for 10 minutes, until the ghee separates (stir in between).
  • Enjoy warm, topped with a few melon seeds or sliced nuts.
