Ingredients

  • gram flour (besan) - 1 cup
  • grated Coconut - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 2.5 cup
  • Ghee - 1/4 cup
  • green Cardamom - 1/4 tsp
  • cashews, small pieces
  • How to Make Besan Coconut Cake:

    1. Fry 1 cup of gram flour with ghee . Keep aside. Fry 1 cup of coconut(optional) .
    2. Take a tawa and dissolve sugar with 1 cup of water.
    3. Keep stirring, when the sugar gets 2 strings, add flour and coconut to the sugar.
    4. Add cardamom and cashews.
    5. Keep stirring, transfer to a greased dish, spread the mixture and cut into desired shapes.
