Ingredients

  • Gram flour (besan) - 1.5 cup
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • Green chillies, finely chopped - 3
  • Ginger, shredded - 1/2 inch
  • Garlic - 6 Cloves
  • Chopped Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
  • 1 - finely chopped Onion
  • 1 - finely chopped Tomato
  • 1 - finely chopped jalapeno
  • 1 cup - shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese
  • Water as per need
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Besan Quesadillas

  • Mix besan, green chillies, garlic, ginger, cumin seeds, and coriander leaves.
  • Add salt, water and make a thin batter.
  • Heat a tawa, drizzle with a little oil, and then pour a little batter on it.
  • Spread in to a thin round and cook it on both sides.
  • When done on one side , put onion, tomato, jalapenos and the cheeses.
  • Cook till the cheeses melt.
  • Then fold it and serve immediately with ketchup or chutneys or salsa.
