How to Make Bharwa Bhindi

  • For Stuffing: Mix coconut, amchur powder, garam masala, turmeric, red chilli powder and chopped coriander leaves, add a little (1 tsp) oil or water and mix all the ingredients.
  • Vertically slit the ladies finger in 4, leaving the 1/2 inch attached at the bottom.
  • Fill the ladies finger with the stuffing. Shallow fry with the lid on, over a low flame
  • Heat 4-6 tsp oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and curry leaves, place the stuffed ladies finger in it along with the leftover masala.
  • Cook with lid on till the ladies finger are cooked.
  • Serve with chapattis.
