Ingredients

  • 4 - goat brain (bheja)
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp - butter
  • pepper to taste
  • salt to taste

How to Make Bheja Fry

  • Clean and wash the brain pieces. Boil in 3 cups of water mixed with salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder.
  • Boil on medium flame for 10 to 12 minutes or until tender.
  • Remove the thin membrane.
  • Cut each brain into 4 pieces.
  • Lightly melt butter in a non-stick pan and saute the pieces on medium flame.
  • Sprinkle pepper powder and serve hot.
