How to Make Bhindi Masala Wali

  • Wash the okra and dry with a towel. Cut the top and tail from them.
  • Split lengthwise, leaving one side joined.
  • Mix all the condiments and salt in a small plate and use this to fill the split okra.
  • Chop the onions and tomato lengthwise.
  • Warm the oil in a microwave safe glass dish for 2 mins.
  • Place the masala-filled okra, chopped tomatoes, chopped onions and whole green chillies in the oil and mix well with a wooden spatula.
  • Sprinkle the leftover masala on the okra.
  • Microwave on high for 15 minutes. Remove the dish, mix well with the spatula, and if the vegetables appear dry and uncooked, add 1/4 cup of water by sprinkling it on the vegetables and mixing again with the spatula.
