Ingredients

  • 200 gms - Bhindi (lady's fingers)
  • 1 large - Onion
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • 1 cup - Curd
  • 1 tbsp - cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp - coriander powder
  • 1 Tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp - Coriander leaves
  • For seasoning:
  • 1 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tsp - Urad Dal
  • 4-5 - Curry leaves
  • How to Make Bhindi Salad:

    1. Cut the bhindi & onions into thin pieces.
    2. Heat a kadai, add the oil & onions
    3. When the onion turns brown add the bindi & then add all the other powders & salt to taste . Fry well.
    4. Take a small deep pan, add ghee and mustard and when it splutters, add urad dal & curry leaves
    5. Mix well, adding curd.
    6. Pour over bhindi and garnish with coriander leaves.
