Ingredients

  • 250 gms - bhindi
  • 1 - onion
  • 1 - tomato
  • 1 - tomato puree
  • 1 tsp - garam masala
  • 1 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - dhania powder
  • 1/2 tsp - aamchur powder
  • 1 tbsp- ginger garlic paste
  • lemon grass paste or lemon juice
  • Oil to fry

How to Make Bindi Masala

  • Cut the bhindis into halves. Fry it in oil till it is half cooked.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add jeera and chopped onion.
  • Fry till it is golden brown.
  • Add garlic, ginger paste to it.
  • Then add the chopped tomatoes to it.
  • Also add the tomato puree to it.
  • Add aamchur powder, chilli powder and dhania powder.
  • Add the fried bhindi to it.
  • Add salt according to taste.
  • Add garam masala and the lemon juice.
  • Garnish with coriander.
