  • Bitter gourd - 250 gm
  • Onions (big size)- 2 or 3
  • Dry coconuts - 2
  • Red chillies - 7
  • Garlic -1 pod
  • Salt

How to Make Bitter Gourd Podi

  • Take dry coconuts and cut into small pieces.
  • Add garlic and red chillies and grind without adding water.
  • Cut the bitter gourd into thin slices, add salt and keep aside for 15 minutes.
  • Squeeze the bitter gourd slices and remove water from them.
  • Take pan, preferably non-stick, pour 2-3 tbsp of oil, heat oil, then add bitter gourd slices and fry for 15 minutes.
  • Add onions and fry till they become brown.
  • Add the ground powder, mix well and add salt to taste.
