  • Bitter gourd - 250 gm
  • Onions (big size)- 2 or 3
  • Dry Coconuts - 2
  • Red Chillies - 7
  • Garlic -1 pod
  • Salt
  • How to Make Bitter Gourd Podi:

    1. Take dry coconuts and cut into small pieces.
    2. Add garlic and red chillies and grind without adding water.
    3. Cut the bitter gourd into thin slices, add salt and keep aside for 15 minutes.
    4. Squeeze the bitter gourd slices and remove water from them.
    5. Take pan, preferably non-stick, pour 2-3 tbsp of oil, heat oil, then add bitter gourd slices and fry for 15 minutes.
    6. Add onions and fry till they become brown.
    7. Add the ground powder, mix well and add salt to taste.
