Ingredients

  • Rice flour - 1 cup
  • Water - 2 cups
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves - a few
  • Green chillies - 2, chopped
  • Chopped Onion - 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to roast the rotis
  • How to Make Biyam Pindi Rotti (Rice Flour Rotis):

    1. Heat 1 tbsp oil and season with mustard and curry leaves.
    2. Add to the water. Add green chillies, onion and salt and place on fire.
    3. When the water begins to boil, add the rice flour and cook, stirring, till the mixture forms a smooth lump. Allow to cool.
    4. Take a little dough and flatten with wet hand into a round roti on a plastic sheet or a piece of banana leaf.
    5. Transfer to a hot tawa and cook both sides with a little oil.
    6. Use all the dough thus.
