Ingredients

  • 2 cups - atta
  • 1 cup - soaked and pressure cooked black Channa dal
  • 1 cup - grated Carrot and Cabbage
  • 2 tbsp - soya flour ( optional )
  • 1 tbsp - grated Ginger
  • 1 tsp - Jeera seeds
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp - fennel powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • salt as per taste
  • How to Make Black Channa Vegetable Patties:

    1. Grind the boiled black channa to a powder after cooling it.
    2. Mix all the ingredients along with the channa powder and make a soft dough.
    3. Knead the dough using warm water.
    4. Allow it to stand for 30 minutes
    5. Make equal-sized balls, about the size of lemons.
    6. Roll in to small discs.
    7. Roast it on the tawa and serve.
    8. Ghee or oil can be used for roasting it (optional).
