Ingredients

  • 1 kg - good fleshy fish cut into thick slices
  • 1 tbsp - black pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - chillies powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • 2 tbsp - lime juice
  • 8- curry leaves

How to Make Black Pepper Fish Fry

  • Marinate the fish slices with the pepper powder, chillies powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, lime juice and curry leaves for about half an hour.
  • Heat oil in a flat pan or Griddle and shallow fry the marinated fish till brown.
  • The curry leaves will also shrivel up and give the fish a nice flavour.
  • Serve with rice or bread.
