How to Make

  • In a pan, pour ghee and splutter mustard seeds
  • Lower the flame and add cashews, urad dal, channa dal, chillies, curry leaves and asafoetida powder.
  • Let cashews and dals become light reddish in colour.
  • Now add grated coconut and fry for 7 to 8 minutes
  • Boil the rice separately and cool
  • Now add the above fried ingredients to the rice and add salt and mix it very well
  • Serve
