Ingredients

  • 1kg - boneless chicken, cut into cubes
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 3 - dry red chillies, broken into bits
  • 1 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - Ginger paste
  • 3 - tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 - onions, sliced finely
  • 1 tsp - spice powder or Garam Masala powder
  • 1 tsp - peppercorns
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • Salt - to taste
  • How to Make Boneless Chicken Jalfrezie:

    1. Heat oil in a suitable pan and add the cumin seeds.
    2. When they begin to splutter, add the dry red chillies, onions, and peppercorns. Fry till golden brown.
    3. Add the chicken and saute for a few minutes till it changes colour.
    4. Now add all the other ingredients and stir well.
    5. Simmer on low heat until the chicken is tender and the gravy is quite thick.
    6. Serve with rice, chapatis, or bread.
