Ingredients

  • 1 - Egg
  • 1 slice - white or brown bread
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • Butter or oil for frying

How to Make Bread Fried Egg

  • Melt the butter in a non-stick pan and break the egg into it.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Place the slice of bread over the half-done egg and press slightly.
  • When the underside of the egg is done, flip the whole thing over and continue to fry until the bread turns golden brown.
  • Serve hot with the bread-side up.
