Ingredients

  • 4 slices - bread
  • 2 - medium potatoes, boiled
  • 1/2 - onion, finely chopped
  • 2 - chillies, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - Coriander seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp - kasoori Methi
  • 1/4 tsp - Jeera powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Garam Masala
  • salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

How to Make Bread-Potato Bonda

  • Mash the boiled potatoes. Mix with onions, coriander, chillies, salt, and all the other ingredients. Make small balls.
  • Soak a slice of bread in water. Squeeze out the excess water.
  • Put a potato ball in the middle of the slice, cover, and shape into an oval.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry bondas till golden brown.
  • Serve with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
