  • 1/2 lbs - Bread
  • 1 cup - chopped Cauliflower
  • 1/3 cup - Green peas
  • 1 small - capsicum, grated
  • 1 - medium-sized tomato, chopped
  • 1 - small onion, grated
  • 1/2 - carrot, cut into small pieces
  • 5 gms - Cashew nuts and Raisins
  • 1 tsp - Ghee (clarified butter)
  • Coriander leaves, for garnishing
  • 2 tsp - Sugar
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Bread Pulao

  • Crush the bread manually, using a little water to make it soft. Set aside.
  • Heat oil in pan and put in the cauliflower, carrot and capsicum. Cook until soft.
  • Add the onions and tomatoes. Take care they do not brown or burn. Add the bread,cashew nuts, raisins, sugar and a pinch of salt.
  • Mix with a spatula. You can add a little ghee (1 tsp), for flavor.
  • Remove onto a serving plate and decorate with fresh coriander leaves.
