  • 1/2 loaf - bread (or leftover bread)
  • 1 cup - Curd (some sour)
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 2 - green chillies, finely chopped
  • coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 - onion, finely chopped
  • oil for deep frying
  • 1 - Carrot grated, optional

How to Make Bread Tikki

  • Cut bread into small pieces.
  • Mix all the ingredients with curd and prepare as puri batter without adding water.
  • Shape this into tikkis or any other shape and deep fry in oil (oil should not be too hot).
  • Fry till golden in colour.
  • Serve with tomato sauce.
