  • 4 slices - Bread
  • 3 - Tomatoes (pureed)
  • 4 - Garlic pods (crushed)
  • 1.5 tsp - Ginger paste
  • 4 - Green chillies (cut fine)
  • Gram flour - for paste
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp - Coriander leaves, chopped fine
  • Oil for frying

How to Make Bread Toms

  • Cut each bread slice into four squares.
  • In a bowl, mix the ginger, garlic, tomato puree, salt, green chillies, coriander leaves and gram flour (besan) to make a paste. (Add water if necessary).
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Dip each bread square in the paste and deep fry till crisp and done.
