Ingredients

  • 200g - Broccoli florets
  • 1 - chopped Onion
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli paste
  • 1 - Egg
  • 3 tbsp - all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp - Corn flour
  • 1/4 tsp - ajinomoto
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

How to Make Broccoli fry

  • Bring the broccoli florets to boil in 1 cup of water until tender.
  • Drain water and finely chop the broccoli.
  • Make a thick batter by mixing egg, corn flour, all-purpose flour, chopped onion, red chilli paste, salt, pepper, and ajinomoto.
  • Add chopped broccoli to the batter and mix well.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Deep fry the broccoli florets till light brown.
  • Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot with chilli sauce.
