Ingredients

  • For kofta:
  • 1 head - Broccoli
  • 2 - boiled Potatoes
  • 1 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - chopped chillies
  • For gravy:
  • 1 tsp - whole Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp - Onion paste
  • 1 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - Green chillies
  • 2 - Tomato puree
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - dhania-jeera powder
  • 1 tsp - Haldi
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • Salt
  • 1/2 cup - water or Milk
  • Oil - as needed
  • To garnish:
  • Cream - as needed
  • Kasuri Methi - as needed
  • How to Make Broccoli Kofta:

    1. Method for kofta:
    2. Boil or steam the broccoli, and mash it well.
    3. Add the potatoes.
    4. Add salt, ginger-garlic paste, and chillies.
    5. Mix well and make small balls out of it.
    6. Deep fry them and keep aside.
    7. For the gravy:
    8. Take oil in a kadai; add garam masala and allow it to splutter. Then add onion paste.
    9. Fry it till the oil separates.
    10. Then add ginger-garlic paste, green chillies, and tomato puree.
    11. Add all the dry ingredients and fry well till the oil leaves the masala.
    12. Add water to make gravy or use milk to give richness.
    13. Add the koftas just before serving the dish.
    14. Finish it with cream and kasuri methi for garnish.
