Ingredients

  • 3 - pita breads
  • 2 - onion slices
  • 1 - cucumber slices
  • For burgers:
  • 1/2 kg - crab meat
  • 1/2 tbsp - crushed mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup - grounded peanuts
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp - curry powder
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds powder
  • 2 - green chillies, chopped finely
  • 1/2 - small cauliflower florets , boiled, smashed
  • 1 - egg
  • Salt as per taste
  • For cucumber sauce:
  • 1 cup - cucumber, grated
  • 1/4 cup - finely chopped onion
  • 1 - green chillies, chopped finely
  • 1 tbsp - crushed mint leaves
  • 1/4 tsp - salt
  • 1/8 tsp - white pepper powder
  • 2 tbsp - chopped celery
  • 1.5 cups - plain yogurt (curd)
  • (Mix together all the ingredients and chill for 1/2 hour)

How to Make Burgers in Pita Bread

  • Mix all the ingredients of the burgers.
  • Make 6 patties of the mixture.
  • Grill the patties for 8-10 min, turning each side till brown.
  • Halve the pita breads. Warm them.
  • Put one patties inside each pita bread pocket.
  • Pour some cucumber sauce over it.
  • Serve with onion and tomato slices and remaining cucumber sauce.
