Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Butter beans, soaked
  • 3 - Potatoes peeled, boiled, cut
  • 1/2 cup - thick Coconut Milk
  • 1 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 3 - green chillies, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 5 - whole pepper Corns
  • 1- spring Curry leaves
  • 2 - red dry chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp - cooking oil
  • How to Make Butter Beans And Potatoes In Coconut Milk:

    1. Splutter mustard seeds in oil and fry curry leaves, pepper corns and red dry chillies for a couple of minutes
    2. To this add the boiled potatoes, butter beans and all other ingredients (except the coconut milk) and mix well
    3. Into this add 1/2 cup of water and simmer on low fire for 5 minutes
    4. Add the coconut milk and simmer for a couple of minutes
