Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken thighs or 4 drumsticks.
  • 1 - large Onion
  • 4 - Cloves Garlic
  • Small piece - Ginger
  • Butter
  • 4 - large Tomato
  • Whipped Cream
  • Salt
  • Red Chilli powder
  • Dry coriander
  • Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
  • How to Make Butter Chicken for Pulavs:

    1. Clean and wash chicken and keep aside.
    2. Cut the garlic and ginger into very fine pieces
    3. Cut the onion half and then length wise.
    4. Make a paste of the tomatoes.
    5. Heat the butter in a non-stick pan and add onion, garlic, ginger, chicken and all masalas.
    6. Cover it with the lid and let it simmer for about 20-25 mins.
    7. Once the chicken is done, add the tomato paste to it and stir till the juice of the tomato dries up
    8. Now add a little water and boil it. Then add whole cream to it.
    9. Wait for about 5 mins and turn off the gas.
    10. Serve with naan or mattar pulao
