How to Make Butter Chicken for Pulavs

  • Clean and wash chicken and keep aside.
  • Cut the garlic and ginger into very fine pieces
  • Cut the onion half and then length wise.
  • Make a paste of the tomatoes.
  • Heat the butter in a non-stick pan and add onion, garlic, ginger, chicken and all masalas.
  • Cover it with the lid and let it simmer for about 20-25 mins.
  • Once the chicken is done, add the tomato paste to it and stir till the juice of the tomato dries up
  • Now add a little water and boil it. Then add whole cream to it.
  • Wait for about 5 mins and turn off the gas.
  • Serve with naan or mattar pulao
