Ingredients

  • 200 g - Paneer
  • 2 - medium-sized Tomatoes
  • 1 cup - pudina
  • 2 bunches- fresh Methi
  • 3 - Onions
  • 2 g - cashews
  • 1 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 4 - Red Chillies
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp - coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala
  • salt to taste
  • red colour as required
  • 1/2 - Butter stick
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • How to Make Butter Paneer Masala:

    1. Pressure-cook the methi, pudina, red chillies, onions and tomatoes. Grind into a smooth paste.
    2. Grind the cashews separately into a smooth paste.
    3. Cut the paneer into small cubes. Don't fry them.
    4. Heat oil in a pan. Add the onions and fry well until the colour changes. Grind into a smooth paste.
    5. Add some more oil in the pan and fry the onion paste with ginger-garlic paste.
    6. When the paste leaves oil, add the methi paste, cashew paste, salt, turmeric, garam masala and food colour. Boil it for 3 minutes.
    7. Add the paneer cubes and boil for 5 minutes.
    8. Add butter and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with paratha or puri.
