How to Make Butter Paneer Masala

  • Pressure-cook the methi, pudina, red chillies, onions and tomatoes. Grind into a smooth paste.
  • Grind the cashews separately into a smooth paste.
  • Cut the paneer into small cubes. Don't fry them.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add the onions and fry well until the colour changes. Grind into a smooth paste.
  • Add some more oil in the pan and fry the onion paste with ginger-garlic paste.
  • When the paste leaves oil, add the methi paste, cashew paste, salt, turmeric, garam masala and food colour. Boil it for 3 minutes.
  • Add the paneer cubes and boil for 5 minutes.
  • Add butter and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with paratha or puri.
